Throgs Neck Bridge
Throgs Neck Bridge carries I.295 connecting Long Island to the Bronx as it soars above the Long Island Sound. This is a suspension bridge with the center span being held up by steel cables suspended from larger cables which in turn are supported by the towers.
Traffic to Interstate 678 south to the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge departs from the transition ramp here. The left two lanes connect to Interstate 295/Cross Bronx Expressway Extension south to the Throgs Neck Bridge. After this exit ramp, Interstate 295 south begins with four through lanes (two of which merge in from the left).
After crossing the Throgs Neck Bridge, northbound Interstate 295 prepares to split: the left three lanes continue north on Interstate 295 to connect to Interstate 95/Cross Bronx Expressway south (west) to Upper Manhattan and New Jersey via the George Washington Bridge.
Throgs Neck Bridge is clean and pretty Bridge ever in my whole life and I love Throgs Neck Bridge.

Credit Report
Information about you and your credit experiences, like your bill-paying history, the number and type of accounts you have, whether you pay your bills by the date they’re due, collection actions, outstanding debt, and the age of your accounts, is collected from your credit report. Using a statistical program, creditors compare this information to the loan repayment history of consumers with similar profiles. For example, a credit scoring system awards points for each factor that helps predict who is most likely to repay a debt. A total number of points — a credit score — helps predict how creditworthy you are — how likely it is that you will repay a loan and make the payments when they’re due.
So if you wonder how to repair your credit, the first thing you have to do is to get the latest copies of your credit reports. This is to find out what you have to repair as these reports have your latest credit information. Some insurance companies also use credit report information, along with other factors, to help predict your likelihood of filing an insurance claim and the amount of the claim.
You can get a free credit report from each of the three credit bureaus every year and even order for extra copies by paying a fee. It is however necessary to get reports from all three credit bureaus as some creditors may report only to one credit bureau. With credit bureaus not sharing information, the different reports carry different information. Go through your credit reports.
On receiving the reports, you have to go through them and highlight all repairs. Any incorrect information like dues that aren’t yours and payments that were unnecessarily declared late should be disputed. Dispute all incorrect information in your credit reports by sending a letter and a copy of the highlighted reports to the credit bureaus.
After clearing all the negative items on your credit report, the next, and perhaps last step on how to repair your credit is to get as much Michael Podgoetsky is an expert at positive information. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) also gives you the right to get your credit score from the national consumer reporting companies.
If your credit report indicates that you have paid bills late, had an account referred to collections, or declared bankruptcy, it is likely to affect your score negatively. Many scoring systems consider whether you have applied for credit recently by looking at “inquiries” on your credit report. Scoring models may be based on more than the information in your credit report. Sometimes you can be denied credit or insurance — or initially be charged a higher premium — because of information in your credit report.
Because credit scores are based on credit report information, a score often changes when the information in the credit report changes. If you are denied credit or not offered the best rate available because of inaccuracies in your credit report, be sure to dispute the inaccurate information with the consumer reporting company.
To order your free annual report from one or all the national consumer reporting companies, and to purchase your credit score, call toll-free 877-322-8228, or complete the Annual Credit Report Request Form and mail it to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P. O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281

Graphene
An international team of physicists has discovered that electrons move much more easily through graphene than any other known material. Their findings strengthen the belief of some researchers that graphene — which is a 2D sheet of carbon just one atom thick and a semiconductor — might be the best material for making electronic devices of the future.
Now, Andre Geim of Manchester University and colleagues in Russia, the Netherlands and the US have found that the intrinsic mobility of graphene was around 200,000 cm2/Vs. Graphene, which is a 2D sheet of carbon just one atom thick, is ultimately thin but has a higher electronic quality than any known material. Graphene is normally not perfectly flat but instead has a corrugated appearance and these corrugations vibrate as the graphene warms up.
However, two big challenges still need to be overcome before applications like graphene logic circuits see the light of day. The high mobility value also means that graphene could be used to make devices that operate in the the terahertz region of the electromagnetic spectrum — something that is very difficult today. The researchers say that the intrinsic mobility could go even higher if the impurities in graphene were cleaned up — and if the corrugations could be removed.
Geim said that although he knew that electrons in graphene could move long distances (longer than in conventional semiconductors), he did not expect that the material could outperform carbon nanotubes in this respect — or indeed the current record holder indium antimonide. Its high intrinsic mobility (or electronic quality as it also known) means that graphene is the only material where electrons at room temperature can move thousands of interatomic distances without scattering.

Demi Moore Dress
Demi Moore is an actress that has been at the top of her game for decades. She is still as gorgeous and stylish as ever. Although her styles change with time, some key characteristics have epitomized Demi's look throughout time. Demi Moore still have her beauty, in a Prabal Gurung Fall 2009 asymmetrical black dress she looked fabulous. We thought it was odd that no brand or fashion house took credit for it - since it was one of the better dresses Demi has ever worn - and she is, after all, Demi Moore. Turns out, it was a pale apricot halter by Christian Dior, and the color was really flattering on her. We liked her daughter Rumer’s dark red Reem Acra - but Demi’s Dior was actually younger looking! It wasn’t too tight, it wasn’t too cleavage enhancing, it wasn’t too over the top in this economy - it was a home run.

There has been growing speculation that at 44 years-young, Demi Moore is pregnant with Ashton Kutcher’s first biological child. The suggestion, based on Demi “showing off her bump at a film premiere in New York,” has also been aided by the couple’s recent talks of wanting a bigger family. Demi Moore Biography

Cartoon Network’s Ben 10
Cartoon Network announced the start of production on Ben 10: Alien Swarm, an all-new, live-action movie based on the hit animated series Ben 10 Alien Force that will premiere on the network in fall 2009. The original movie will commence principal photography in Atlanta, Ga. Alex Winter returns to direct and executive-produce the latest installment in the Ben 10 franchise from a script penned by screenwriter John Turman (Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer and The Hulk). Winter directed Cartoon Network’s first Ben 10 live-action movie, Ben 10: Race Against Time, which scored over 13 million viewers during its Thanksgiving weekend premiere in 2007.

Cartoon Network's Star Wars
Cartoon Network will make a major play for viewers -- both kids and grown-ups -- this fall when it installs "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" in its lineup. Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be back and better than ever with new episodes in the fall. The series plans to explore deeper into the Star Wars universe, uncovering mysteries that even long-time movie fans will be anxious to see revealed. The Force is strong with this one!
In addition to the "Clone Wars" announcement, Cartoon Network also presented a new kids' show called "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack," about a boy who yearns for adventure on the high seas and announced that beginning in June, Sunday nights will be home to a movie franchise that will feature both animated ("The Ant Bully," "Monster House") and live-action ("Kicking and Screaming," "Cheaper by the Dozen") feature films.
When George Lucas released the first three episodes of his new Star Wars spinoff cartoon The Clone Wars into theaters as a feature length movie, I viewed it as a cynical marketing ploy to wring out a few more bucks from fans before they got to see the series for free on Cartoon Network. The actual product didn’t thrill me much, either. I didn’t particularly like the storyline and found things like the Roman Polanski-ish hutt, Anakin Skywalker’s tube-top wearing jedi pupil and the overly cute antics of the baby hutt all fighting it out to see which could annoy me more.
All this week into next, Cartoon Network is running the show in repeats. If you passed on the show initially based on the (lack of) quality of the theatrical version, I would recommend giving the show another chance. Below, You’ll find Cartoon Network’s schedule for the repeats.
Cartoon Network announced today that it has picked-up a second season of the hit CG-animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," from creator George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation. Slated to premiere in the fall of 2009, the second season will continue to take audiences on new and exciting adventures, combining the legendary storytelling of Lucasfilm with innovative animation. The season one finale of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" airs on Cartoon Network Friday, March 20 at 9 pm ET/PT.
The October 3, 2008 premiere of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" scored as the most-watched series debut in Cartoon Network history, according to Nielsen Media Research. Since its premiere, "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" (Friday 9 p.m.) has ranked #1 in its time period on all television, broadcast and ad-supported cable with boys 2-11, boys 6-11, and tween boys 9-14 through January 2009.
I'm sure Lucasarts would have made DVDs if it hadn't made it on Cartoon Network. The fact that CN is picking it up for another season is new news. I like the show, but I'm not really looking at it as part of the movies at all, no matter how much Lucas is attached. It's kind of like Terminator 3 and Salvation, no matter how good they are they're not part of the true storyline.

Naruto in Cartoon Network
Naruto, the global hit animé series centering around Uzumaki Naruto, a rebellious ninja in training, makes its U.S. debut on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 9 p.m. (ET, PT) during Toonami, Cartoon Network's high-rated action block. The series has already acquired a huge fan base in the U.S. through DVD sales and bootleg tapes, having first aired in Japan in 2002. Its debut on Cartoon Network will mark the first time the series has been shown in English.
"Naruto has reached a level of underground fandom comparable to the Dragonball phenomenon in both the U.S. and abroad. We are excited and honored to present Toonami fans with the compelling characters, story arcs and incredible action that have made Naruto an international sensation," said Bob Higgins, senior vice president of programming for Cartoon Network.
Naruto is an adaptation of the popular manga series Naruto created by Masahi Kishimoto. Cartoon Network has acquired 52 episodes of the animé series that will air during Toonami, Cartoon Network's Saturday prime time action block. Since its modest beginnings on the Cartoon Network, Naruto has taken the U.S by storm with accessories galore, among many other keepsakes and knick-knacks sold nation-wide. However, that isn't the main reason for creator Masashi's Kishimoto anime success.
About Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network (CartoonNetwork.com), currently seen in 88.1 million U.S. homes and 160 countries around the world, is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.'s ad-supported cable service offering the best in original, acquired and classic animated entertainment for kids and families. Overnight from 11 p.m.-6 a.m. (ET, PT), Cartoon Network shares its channel space with Adult Swim, a late-night destination showcasing original and acquired animation for young adults 18-34.
Cartoon Network, please do not air the Naruto-filler-sagas--just skip straight to Naruto Shippuuden (the second part of the Naruto story). The 85-episodes of crappy Naruto filler (episodes 136 - 220) that follow the Sasuke-retrieval arc (current arc), are poorly written, poorly animated, and do not follow the spirit of Naruto at all. Everyone who watched them in Japanese agrees--they're not worth dubbing. Do not torture your English audience by forcing them to watch 1.6 straight-years of crappy filler.

Cartoonnetwork is going to start making "reality" shows. I enjoy Cartoon Network's shows, and if I think to myself, "Gosh, I want to watch a cartoon" chances are I'll look at Cartoon Network. It covers its niche well, from kids shows to the highly lauded and successful Adult Swim and late night Anime. But no, not good enough for them to be a highly successful Cartoon showing network. Variety reports that Cartoon Network is producing 4 reality shows out of the 13 new shows on their new slate and partnering with the NBA to produce a short form segment.
Turner Broadcasting should be utilizing the lessons it could learn from Cartoon Network's success and expand into additional niche markets. Something else happens when a trait is ignored and no offspring are created: the trait disappears from the gene pool. In the frenzy to gain the broadest audience, they may sacrifice what made the original worth while, that it was a highly successful specialist.
If they have enough talent to create new programming in a different style for kids, they should be making a new network that would serve as a generalist: TBS Kids, TBA, TNBA; or add more kids programming to the CW. Frankly put, Cartoon Network should not be Turner's generalist unless the reality shows are animated.

Miss Texas Usa Pageant
Having Miss Texas USA on my resume is pretty interesting. First, it causes people to remember who I am. Second, people forget and when speaking with me, ask me about what it was like to be first runner-up at the pageant or a former Miss Texas USA. If that's the case, there isn't a point to winning the pageant when people won't remember anyway, right? Third, and this is the best part, there is a notion that beauty pageant women, especially those in the world-renowned Miss Texas USA, are gorgeous creatures in the vein of Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders. It's considered adequate experience for modeling and television and ask yourself, how many people on the street remember Miss Texas USA's name or who won Miss USA three years ago? I would rather rank among Miss Texas USA's famous "ugly losers," like Eva Longoria Parker and Farrah Faucett. Whoever picked on Ms. Longoria at that year's pageant is probably at home barbecuing yesterday's potroast for her 85 children while she landed on Maxim's hottest women list.
I don't know how much longer pageantry will last in this country. You would think by now with Playboy and women in bikinis everywhere that men could care less about watching girls in granny panties-sized swimwear prance across a stage to win a contest that's rigged, predetermined a week in advance, a contest the real people don't even get to vote in. What is the appeal? Miss America has already been reduced to a retirement community worth of viewers on an ever-changing cable network. Really, CMT must have given TLC a load of kickbacks to have it, saying, "Take this trash! We could get more viewers if we played ten year old Shania Twain music videos followed by Hee Haw reruns!" Worse, Miss USA and Miss Universe are "no talent required" competitions -- quite obvious if you ever meet any of the talentless, brainless contestants -- so you can't claim people watch them for the great singing.

I strongly disagree with the remarks from Ms. Russin. I happened to serve as a judge for the Miss Texas USA Pageant on two occasions. I also have served as the State Director for the Miss Teenage California Scholarship Pageant for 31 years, which incidently has no affiliation with either Miss USA or MIss America, but remains one of the most successful state programs of it's kind in the nation. We however do not have a swimsuit competition. Our contestants are judged on Achievements & Activities, Personality, and Poise and Appearance in Formal Attire. I would suggest that Krystle Russin might be singing a different tune had she actually won Miss Texas USA. IN my 31 years as a State Director and judge of said events I find the contestants to be intelligent and goal oriented. Most seem to be very motivated. I strongly disagree with the assertion that pageant contestants are by any stretch less intelligent than their non-competing counterparts. Perhaps quite the contrary. Ms. Russin their are a slew of allegations that you bring that bare little to do with truth or reality. The two times I have the priviledge of judging the Miss Texas USA Pageant for Al and Gail Clark, I found to be totally positive. They produce a high quality event, offer substantial opportunities to their contestants, and offer an excellent prize package.
